November by the sea........

........not on the beach but at the Ladder Club!  It's a long way to go but in the end I decided it was too good an opportunity to miss.  So, in mid-November I shall be visiting sunny(?) Southend on Sea to attend a seminar run by Lynn Tait hopefully telling me all I need to know about how to start a greetings cards company.  Many moons ago I had grand ideas of using my photographs and photochopped sketches to make greetings cards, wrapping paper and stationery.

(a couple I had in mind)

It never quite got off the ground ..........but in my fantasy world, where every day is endless and there is time not only to do all that has to be done but all that you would love to do too, it is still a secretly harboured ambition.   So I am off to the seaside seminar to get some tips of the trade and insight into all that it entails....and one day  - you never know - my fantasy may become reality!

Determined....

.....not to let March disappear without a single posting here.  But lack of time has meant that drawing and sewing and generally being creative has been a little on the slow side.   That and a very poorly camera means that any image here has to be computer generated or scanned and a posting wouldn't be a proper posting without an image.  So ...... here's a few I drew earlier!

 ....really missing my camera!

Feeling blue.....

,,,,,my camera has gone kaput! so no pictures of the lovely snow and ice there has been around these parts recently, nor of the wee snowdrops that think spring is sprung and are trying to force their way out of the frozen ground in our garden, nor of the misty morning shots of the snow covered hills .....just a few scans of my latest scrawlings and doodles all supporting jewellery design really or just having fun.
