I have struggled all month to commit pen and crayon to paper but simply had no time left as we have set ourself a month's turnaround for each entry in the moly and I was a tad late even then!!
I have tried to pick up on Alison's style and theme and have loved working with new materials including a 0.05 micron pen which my local art shop claimed didn't exist. I found it though in London at Cass Art, Islington. This is an ab fab artists paradise of a shop with very low prices and a sale on at the moment....I only wish I could have carried a cut price artist easel all the way back to Yorkshire but as the box was taller than me and at least 3 times wider, and I was on the underground and the train and had already been up since 5 am and it was 6 pm at night I had to admit defeat.....I was so tempted though...a full size artists' studio easle for under £25.

Thanks for posting about this shop. I have been told there is a Cass Art shop around the corner from the National Gallery but looking on their web site I am not so sure. Must try and visit one of them next time I am in London
