Happy Mothers' Day

An amazing weekend...

...giving my first ever talk and workshop at the York Embroiderers Guild. A nerve-wracking but ultimately very enjoyable experience. I met some wonderfully enthusiastic and extremely skilled embroiderers and was absolutely amazed at the size of turnout both at the talk and the workshop. The York Guild is one of the largest in the country and obviously very well supported. Thank you ladies for inviting me over!

In preparing the talk I reviewed some slides of my old work from college - andfelt a little nostalgic for my old college days, here's a short selection....

I also took delivery of some new wire this weekend.....I just love the colours! Now where are those knitting needles.......?

Spring .....

is sprung!

it is so gorgeous round where I live at the moment. Carpets of crocuses or is it croci? ...so beautiful.
